We are Amanda and Alison Rohdy, and we are the founders, lead planner (Amanda), and lead designer (Alison) behind Rohdy Events. We are based in Augusta, Georgia, and we are drawn to couples who have just the right amount of quirky mixed with the perfect amount of fun-loving. We liken teaming up with wedding planners to deciding your fiance is the one: We’re the team you bring home to meet your parents. If your dream wedding includes a meaningful ceremony followed by a super fun bash, you’ve found the right planning duo.
Amanda launched Rohdy Events in 2015. From the moment we began, we always believed there is strength in numbers, so we decided we would collaborate together on every event. Since launching, we have learned the wedding industry is filled with unparalleled diversity, an abundance of creativity, and an inspiring desire to celebrate couples and the unique relationships they share together. To put it simply, we love what we do.
Our couples are excited about industrial settings and modern, creative style. They look to us as producers and collaborators, and they’re ready to become immersed in the creativity that’s possible for their event. They’re warm and inviting, and they value their family and friends. But, above all, our brides and grooms aren’t afraid to slip away for dinner alone together on their wedding day.

I’m Amanda, and I’m the Co-Founder and Lead Planner behind Rohdy Events. After planning many events and our own wedding in Augusta, Georgia, and beyond, I realized I could combine my love for logistics and couples with my desire to always feel creativity challenged by launching my own company. Since 2015, thanks to the people I have met and the unparalleled moments I have experienced, Rohdy Events has been one of my biggest joys and proudest accomplishments.
I completely thrive off my relationship with my spouse, and I’ll always believe my sons are the greatest. I love witnessing couples praying together; I’m forever drawn to events because I live for the experience of a beautiful moment; and my favorite sound to overhear at a wedding is laughter shared between family and friends.
I believe my role as a planner is to be creative, dependable, and hardworking as I bring a couple’s vision to life. The words I value the most are those shared by clients who say they felt stress-free and ready to enjoy every moment. And, I really love dogs, so I’ll be petting yours. I also believe the most memorable days are the ones that are the most fun, so I’ll make you laugh - I promise.

I’m Alison, and I’m the Co-Founder, Lead Designer, and the other half of our dynamic wedding planning duo at Rohdy Events. Had I known when Amanda and I met that we would dive headfirst into owning a wedding planning firm, I would never have believed you. And, yet, this adventure in business we have shared together since 2015 has been one of my favorites to date.
I’m a forever Midwesterner, and I believe in reveling in the little things and soaking in moments big and small because those are always the most memorable. I have yet to find a better feeling than having my family beside me as we adventure through the world together. I love sports and music; I’ll be the second person to pet your dog because Amanda will always be the first; and I always appreciate great design, quirky vibes, and passionate people.
I’ve long felt my role as a wedding planner is to pair creativity with the ability to foster fun, lasting relationships between our clients and our community of fellow wedding professionals. I’m accountable and compassionate, and I’m alway ready to charm your grandparents and your families. My approach is fun and casual, and I like to believe together Amanda and I are a team that’s second to none.
